Is this condo on the beach? Yes, this condo is located across Old 98 and on the beach. Beach access belongs to the condo association so there is an unobstructed view of the beach. There is a walkway over Scenic Gulf Drive so that you do not have to cross the road. Can I see the water from the condo? Yes, you can see the Gulf, the Gulf shore and the bay from the condo. There are gulf views from two bedrooms, the two balconies, the living room, kitchen. The third bedroom has a view of the bay.What are the other fees?
In addition to the rent, you will pay 11% Florida State sales tax. If you stay less than a week, there will be a cleaning fee charged. Is the pool and beach access included? Yes, the pool, 2 hot tubs and beach access are included in the rent. Do you have beach service? (Chairs and umbrellas on the beach.) Yes, there is a small daily fee for beach service. It is seasonal. There are also three beach chairs and beach mats in the front hall closet. Where is the condo located in Destin? It is on Old 98 (Scenic Gulf Drive) next to the beach. It is walking distance from Pompano Joe’s and close to other restaurants. Silver Sand Outlet Mall, one of the best outlet malls in the country is 1 ½ miles away. Is the pool heated? Yes, the pool is heated to about 84-85. It is heated except when the temperature is below freezing. Does Surfside have an exercise facility? Yes, one of the free amenities is a well-equipped exercise facility. What do I need to bring to Surfside? You only need to bring food and beach towels. We have everything else. We provide VCR’s and DVD’s. You may want to bring video tapes and DVD’s. There is a new washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, soap, one roll of toilet tissue per bath, upgraded linens, except beach towels, all kitchen appliances, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, a complete set of dishes, glassware, and pots and pans. Is there wireless internet access? Yes, there is free wireless access. Is the cleaning included? Yes, the unit is professionally cleaned before and after your stay. There is no daily maid service. There are a vacuum, brooms and a dust pan should you need them. What do I do if I have a problem while on vacation? The homeowners’ association provides maintenance when needed. We will provide you the appropriate telephone numbers. You also may contact me at anytime while you are vacationing to help handle any problem.What is there to do in Destin? The Destin area is full of fun things to do. Check the activities page for ideas. I will send you a list of some of my favorites with your confirmation letter. When will I receive my Confirmation? Once I receive your final payment, I will e-mail you the confirmation which will include our local contacts information. We will mail you a key and parking pass. There are extra keys in the condo as well as red beach tags for beach and pool access. I will include a list of some of our favorite restaurants in the Destin area.
Your damage deposit will be returned when the key has been returned and the condo has been checked for damage.
